GLORY GLORY MAN UTD!

It has been a while since I last posted a soccer related post. I must admit, I am no longer the fanatic ManUtd fan, who makes sure she watches EVERY match. However, my love and loyalty for ManUtd never fades =P

BRB while I indulge myself in the spectacular performance by the Devils. Will update this little site which I have been neglecting lately. (as I was working on this other lil project. Shall disclose soon. :D))
Lets hope for another goal or two in this match. :D

Edited: Portsmouth just gave another OG. And its 5-0 now with another half an hour to go.

Laters, lovelies!!!

Midnight Verbal Diarrhea

As much as I love dressing ups; playing around with different make ups; have the privilege to own a gazillion bags and heels (in the future that is) just because I can as a woman, it sucks being a chick at time like this. Its pretty late now and here I am blogging thanks to my raging hormones and my screwed up uterus. For the guys out there who are scratching their head trying to figure out if I just spoke Dutch, well that simply means period cramps.

Period cramps do not attack me every month, just most of them. It has been a while since I had such excruciating experience as I usually pop 'em pills (Panadol Active) the moment I felt a slight discomfort to prevent having to go through such tormenting moment.

- Aunt Helen (my neighbour which now live on a different st) , on the way to MidValley-

However, it was an exceptional case today. Being one who barely has headache, let alone migraine, I do not carry Panadol around, obviously. Good ol' Auntie Rose decided to visit me when I am out today FML and so did her "counterpart", period cramps. FML x 2 ( I know I am way luckier compared to the Haiti victims and many out there. FML is somewhat inappropriate here but its the hormone speaking today so just bear with the excessive FMLs in this post wtf)

-what's the best way to kill time when you're waiting at a traffic light? you don't need to be a 5th grader to answer this =.=". Bloated like a MF! -

I was still feeling alright while I was @ Mid Valley (evidenced by the number of camwhoring shots I had wtf) besides feeling a lil lethargic, which was partially caused by the fact that I was awake @ 6:30am. ( No, I did not wake up at such ungodly hours intentionally) I got woken up when Zoe woke up for school and couldn't get back to sleep. =.="

-obligatory mirror shot while waiting for Aunt Helen to try on her clothes @ Elle-
I had recently downloaded this application called Retro Camera on my iPhone and this is my first time playing around with it. And the effect is pretty cool huh? :D

-The original shot-

Top: SODA (stole from Mum)
Shinny tights: Penang

Pink flats: Market City (got it for 5 AUD. what an awesome steal!)

Bag: Segue

Rings: Diva & China

Necklace: China
Bracelet: Stole from sis (which I am currently obsessed with)

After stopping by Mid Valley for a while, we headed over to Nirvana Banana Leaf for lunch. The pain started to engulfed my uterus halfway through lunch and I thought the pain would subside soon but I guess I was wrong. It only got worst. T__T

- Aunt Helen was fascinated by the Banana Leaf, which was used to serve the rice-

- That's what I get after telling them to "halve the portion". Gosh, people with high metabolism really brings out the green eye monster in me!-

-Papadum, which goes REALLY WELL with the rice & chicken curry sauce-

- Side dishes: Pickled Cucumber, Spinach with egg, Deep fried bitter gourd with spices.-

-promoting Nirvana Banana Leaf rice-

-One of their signature dishes: Fried Calamari YUMMERS -

noms noms noms and NO, I did not finish all of them.

- Hello everyone, this is Alexis' famous Tiramisu-
That's right, we shared a Tiramisu together after our scrumptious lunch @ Alexix, Telawi as we had some time to kill before heading over to Desiree's (a fashion boutique owned by a neighbour of mine) opening ceremony @ BV2.

-Alexis' Tiramisu with its signature strawberry sauce-
However, these delicious & mouth watering food did not stay long in my stomach when my hormones decided to send them out, through my esophagus & mouth before landing into the toilet mouth. I secretly thanked my hormones for that as I feel less guilty after spewing most of my lunch out.

I was sipping my Earl Grey tea at this lovely cafe outside Desiree while waiting for mum's arrival & the miracle pills (ie Panadol Active). God bless whoever who created that magic pills. My pain did subside a lot but there's still a hint of contraction pain ( that's not exactly how you describe the pain but its kinda hard to put them into words unless you have gone through such daunting experience wtf) up till NOW.

Makeup Of The Day (MOTD) - Its a mixture of shimmery gold, bronze & dark brown. LOVE IT! Might do a make up post soon-ish. So stay tune. :D

I was in the mood to play around with my Coastal Scents 26 colours palatte (which is kinda ruined thanks to the awesome owner who dropped it so many times FML) today and hence the summer-ish colours.

So guys,be more understanding with your girlfriend /wife when she chucks a sook/tantrum while her hormones is playing around with her cos you have absolutely no clue how it feels like when such pain strikes. (Which kinda makes me wonder, how am I gonna bear with labour pain when I have a kid someday)

ps: My apologies if any of the sentences doesn't make sense as this is written in the wee hours and I couldn't be bothered proof read them. *puppy eyes* wtf

Stop raping me, dear uterus

It has been a while since I last felt such excrutiating pain. At time like this, sucks to be a chick.

I am currently being very 'tai tai' ish, sipping dilmah Earl grey tea @ bangsar village 2 while waiting for mum. Would of shop around but my ovari and uterus aren't giving me a peace of mind. FML

ps: finally trying out this blogwriter thing on my iPhone.

A Gluttony Weekend

For those who don't know, I am currently on the good ol' Herbal Life diet (which btw, I am kinda slacking now =.=""") as part of my Weight Loss Plan. I can't speak for everyone who is on this diet, but personally, my taste buds is not really a fan of it. Hence, its not that surprising for me to swap from 2 meals (breakie and lunch) a day to 1 meal a day after 2 weeks. And not to mention, a lil "reward" over the weekend. :)

-Eunice with her Spaghetti Bolognese-
It was darling Eunice's birthday on Thursday and since I couldn't make it to her birthday dinner on Saturday, I had dinner with her on Friday instead @ Delicious, Bangsar. :) Traffic was crazy on a Friday night, but then again what's new here. It was almost 9 by the time we arrived Bangsar. T_T

-Yours trully and her Aglio Oglio-
For someone who's meant to be on a supposedly strict diet, late dinner is definitely NOT advisable. Therefore, I opted for something "simpler" - Aglio Oglio, which was basically spaghetti with that ONE pathetic leaf there. =.=" It was certainly a much wiser choice compared to Cabonara which was shouting for my attention while I was browsing through the menu.

-Ice Kacang-
We then proceeded to PappaRich for dessert, which was across Bangsar Village 2. We both shared an IceKacang, which was simply delicious! It uses only Gula Melaka, otherwise known as Palm Sugar, compared to the usual ones where Red Syrup is also added. Just the way I like it. :P

It was a good catch up session and we had a good camwhoring session too. :) Believe it or not, yours truly did not bring her baby camera out that night and her iPhone was the only one who did all the job. And of course, Eunice's new Blackberry Bold 9700.

:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:

So, the initial plan was to have a simple breakie on Saturday (ie, Herbal Life shake) to make up for the late dinner I had the night before. As expected it didn't go as planned cos I went jogging @ Kiara Park with the parental unit and sister and my cousin from Aus EARLY in the morning.( And I wasn't at all exaggerating when I said early. Think waking up @ quarter to 7.) My stomach was already growling so loudly halfway through and I thought I was going to pass out from hunger wtf. Although I did not order a share for myself, my tummy was pretty satisfied with the Fried Kuey Teow, Curry Noodles, Pan Mee I "stole" from everyone. *rubs tummy*.

Then, it was lunch with the pretty Miss Ally Wang @ La Bondega, Bangsar Shopping Centre.

3 years of friendship and still counting. :) I might not have gained heaps of industrial knowledge from my stint with PwC 3 years ago, but there's one thing that I have gained - precious friendship. ♥

Club Sanwich, which was pretty chat to be honest. The egg was overcooked and the ham and bacon were a lil too oily. Definitely pale in comparison with the breakie I had back in Sydney.

We should definitely have another catch up and camwhoring session soon before I jet off to Sydney. :)

My eating escapade did not stop there. This photo above was taken while Zoe & I were waiting for the rest before heading to dinner @ one of my favourite restaurants - King Crab near Kelana Jaya station!

-Cousin (which is more of an uncle to me) from Sydney, Dad & Mum-

- Sistas ♥ -

- My lil sis who is probably gonna be as tall as me/taller than me soon! -

- Emily who apparently is the molded, tinier version of me-

Its posing time, since we were still waiting for our food. *Spot the massive zit attack*

Attempt 1 to cover up my zit

Attempt 2 (That Diva ring I got a couple of weeks back is an ABSOLUTE LOVE ♥ though it is a tad loose.)

Four Emperor, which consists of Long Beans, EggPlants, Four Angle Beans & Petai

One of King Crab's specialty - some tofu dish

Lotus stem + Scallops + Roasted Macademia Nuts

Sweet & Sour fish

Fried & Steamed Man Tou, which is a MUST to compliment King Crab's famous Butter Crab.

BUTTER CRAB, which I have been painfully waiting since the moment I stepped foot in KL.

To end my awesome yet sinful gluttony weekend on high note, the family had dinner @ the good ol' Ming Tien Hawker Centre (with amazing settings, definitely not your typical dirty hawker stalls :D) with a vast variety of food, ranging from CURRY FISH HEAD (you should be able to tell by now how much I love my curry :D), Grilled Cat Fish, BELACAN Fried Rice (yes, I love my belacan too) , Rojak, and the list goes on.

*Writing up this post @ 2am in the morning is not exactly the best idea as it is triggering my hunger hormones*

After a feast over the weekend, its back to Herbal Life and healthier diet during the week. Next up, I am gonna bug Daddy to buy me DURIAN!!! I have been inhaling alot of "durian aroma" whenever I visit the food department in Jusco as well as at the (night) market but am yet to savour these creamy good stuffs.

- An outfit shot before signing off, taken today @ Nichi's changing room -

Tie Dye Top ♥: PaperScissors, previously known as TEMT
Shinny Faux Leather Tights: Penang
Thongs: Havaianas (which I have been wearing almost everyday. It's SO comfy and matches almost every outfit :D)
Clover shaped ring: China
Bracelet: Stolen from sis :)
Bag: Segue
Necklace & Earrings : Diva

Till next time.

Its me again.

Hey folks, what's crackin'? It has been almost a fortnight since my last update. Shame on me. Chances of me updating on NYE and Christmas Eve is almost nil as the clock is ticking. I am too backlogged to be bothered to edit the photos as well as trying to recall the events, which obviously, gonna be a task for one who suffers from short term memory most of the time. Epic Fail!

I wasn't even planning to update tonight cos I am such a fail blogger. =.=" If it wasn't because pondering about the future/figuring out about life at this hour is killing way too many brain cells, I would probably put off blogging till god knows when. =.=""" Hence, I shall blogged about my nephew's (who is actually older than I am. Complicated Asian Family Tree...) wedding lunch @ Muar on Saturday.

I spent the night before, "pulling an all nighter" to get over and done with this TVB drama that I was following at that time. Therefore, the entire 3-hours-journey was spent catching up on sleep.

Beyond the Realm of Conscience - It has been a while since my last TVB drama, and TVB dramas still never fail to get me hooked after the first episode. And this drama usually leaves me VERY frustrated and agro while watching. For those who are into TVB dramas, this is definitely one of the better ones which you should include in your Must-Watch-List :)

-Make Up Of The Day-
To be honest, I wasn't really in the mood to "dress-to-kill", which probably explains my rather casual outfit that day and none OTT (over the top) make up. I had a simple neutral smokey eyes with my new Maybeline Watershine Lipstick to complete the entire look.

Dad stopped by Muar City Centre to buy some local delicacies such as otak-otak, loh duck and peanut pao. Way to ruin my Herbal-Life-Diet-Plan (aka Living-Hell-Diet-Plan) before heading to the restaurant where the lunch was held. As always, wedding lunch/dinner never commences on time and is always subjected to Malaysian Timing. It was almost 2:30pm when the first dish arrived. No prizes for those who guessed what yours truly did to kill time :D

My agro-looking sisters.

Mum & Dad were deeply engaged in their conversation; Emily & Zoe were having fun with my iPhone; my red wine :)

At last, the glorious food arrived.

The BEST part of a wedding lunch/dinner- Shark Fin soup with crab meat ♥♥♥

Asam Prawn, which tasted pretty good too.

Half Time - where the families of the Bride & the groom were invited to do a toast.

And the feast continued - Heart attack on a plate but it was SOOOOOO GOOOOOD!

I was pretty stuffed by then and only managed to stuff 2 broccoli down cos my daily vegetables quota was not met. There was one final dish before dessert was served, which I didn't manage to snap a photo cos I was busy camwhoring in the toilet wtf.

Top: GAP from Reject Shop
Skirt: Deja Vu @ Bondi Junction
Heels: Shoe Box @ Market City
Bag: Segue (which is apparently the sister company of United Colours of Benetton)
Butterfly Necklace: Guilin, China
Rings: Diva

Soyabean flavoured jelly with longan bits + Fried Char Siew Pao

Twas a pretty good meal, especially after going through a "torturous" diet for the week. Lunch ended around 4ish and we all left for home right after. After a scrumptious but sinful lunch, I had a simple dinner - mum's healthy smoothie and guava, as my almost-futile attempt to clear my intestine. Its back to Herbal Life again tomorrow :(

:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+::+:+:+:+:+:+:+:

A mini haul video taken last Thursday. As opposed to the previous Vlog I made (with excessive usage of "and"), I used "so" every 2 seconds in this video. =.="
Quote-unquote An, I should make more videos/talk more to the camera to improve my interview skills.

- I am currently addicted to this Sticki Pici application I downloaded a couple of days back (And so is Zoe)-

ps: Since I am still in my bumming mode, it might take me awhile before my next update >.< my twitter for more updates :)

Xteener's Giveaway Contest

I am not one who's into video recording due to several reasons. For starters, I speak really awkwardly in video recording and so is my facial expression. (Look at my cheeks muscles' movement, it looks stressed wtf). Secondly, my voice is so much deeper for some odd reasons. And thirdly, its really hard to adjust the "right" angle, unlike camwhoring, which explains the chubby cheeks.

Well, that doesn't stop me from entering Xteener's New Years Resolutions Giveaway.

Since I have already blogged about it here, there's no harm entering this contest. Who knows, I might be 1 of the 3 lucky winners IF Lady Luck decides to be on my side.
- Don't mind the awkward facial expressions and chubby cheeks-

Travelogue - Guilin,China Day 07: 21.12.2009 [Grand Finale]

The time has finally arrived. :) Its my last and probably final post about my annual year end trip with the family. Now that it has been successfully stored in my cyber memory department, I need not worry about squeezing my brain just to recall bits and pieces about my trip. Mission accomplished. :)

As I have mentioned before, we spent most of the final day shopping around Guilin City Centre. Hence, there isn't gonna be any more scenery photos with magnificent view which takes your breath away in this post.

Before we started contributing to China's economy, we visited YuShan Park and had a complimentary foot massage by the tour company. I love massages ♥

This was a popular camwhoring spot as we spent quite some time posing here.

Even the adults succumbed to it :)

Gossip Girls, Asian style

Red Hot Sexy

I am LOVING my chili red coat which was definitely a steal. RMB99, suck it in.

Pineapple Pie from Mackers!!!

Taro pie was SO GOOD. Yummers! I wish the Mackers in Msia/Sydney sells Taro Pie too.

Honey coated Strawberries is ♥. A must have during my China trip.

Mummykins & I ♥

My long lost twin =)

All of us posing with our new coats. Gotta love the ridiculously cheap shopping in China.

The parental unit

Zoe had been wearing the same ol' yellow jacket (which looks absolutely adorable on her) throughout the trip and was searching high and low for a new coat. Its kinda difficult for her as she is very tall for her age (she's turning 11 this year and she is already 150cm). Hence, the kid's ones were too small for her and the adult's ones were too old for her. You could see the smile on her face when she finally managed to find something that suits her.

Dad's signature pose during the trip LOL

Kawaiiiiiiii

Daddykins ♥

Charlie's Angels?

Everyone is happy with their purchases

KaMing was kicked out of the photo cos her black jacket didn't match our colour coordination.lol

After a supposedly scrumptious dinner (which IMHO it tasted just like any other meals we had... greasy and bland... Dad even fell sick after that), we had a night tour around Guilin City before calling it a night.

:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:

Morning call was around 6:30am the next day if I am not mistaken as we had an early flight to catch.

Cutting down on the layers on the final day which resulted in me freezing my non-existent balls wtf off with only a single layer of stockings. And that is the white jacket I bought on Day 01 for RMB78 (pants included).

Remember how I mentioned to take note of the number of luggage we had upon arrival? What a contrast aye? That was how much stuffs we bought in the span of 7 days.

Zoe and her RMB 10 dog.

Posing with my RMB10 cowboy hat ♥

This is SUCH A CUTE PHOTO, don't you reckon????

Phew. It feels so good to finish summarising my Guilin, China trip after a month. I guess my initial plan to have a succinct update didn't quite work out. I mean how succinct can I go when I took 4GBs worth of photos throughout the trip. Oh well...Hope you guys had a great time feasting your eyes on the magnificent views.

STAY TUNE for Christmas Eve & NYE update. (By update, I really mean another typical-Adeline-post, ie pictures-filled-post)

A

Travelogue - Guilin,China Day 06: 20.12.2009

This is the second last entry for my China Trip, like finally. Its about time to wrap up my entire trip and update about my Christmas Eve and NYE Celebration last year. Albeit I am getting kinda sick of going through 600++ photos to look for the best ones and edit them, I know I will be glad I did when I decide to walk down my "cyber memory lane" and reminisce the awesomeness of this trip, few years down the road.

First destination for the day was Li River by cruise.

The tour company hired a "professional" photographer throughout the cruise journey as well as to Utopia later in the arvo. And needless to say, we spent quite a bit on purchasing the photos itself, approximately RMB500 if I am not mistaken. Not a big amount if you ask me, but I reckon it is still pretty expensive to spend that much on buying photos when my beloved T90 does a pretty great job.

* I really need to stop digressing*

The mummies :)

Dad wanted to be the thorn among the roses LOL

Group Photo #1: Serious Look

Group Photo #2: Funny Faces

The 4 lovely couples + poor single man

Take 1

Take 2

Take 3

Managed to grab a gorgeous butterfly necklace here for RMB20 *win*

It was drizzling when we first arrived Utopia, hence the hoodie.

Waiting for our ride.

Gotta love camwhoring with such magnificent view as background =)

This would have been a picture perfecto if it wasn't for that tourguide, who obviously wasn't observant enough to notice that she ruined an otherwise perfect photo :(

♥♥♥

Mum and her other love of her life besides us, flowers.

Local rice wine tasting.

Daddy and his princesses ♥

A final group photo before heading back to Guilin City.

As you can see, I couldn't really be bothered with detailed captions no more after writing thesis-like captions for the past few posts. And I am pretty sure the pictures speak for itself on how amazing these scenes were.

Grand Finale of my Travelogue - Guilin, China is coming real soon. Stay tune :D
